Walter Smith has been committed to training and developing its staff since it was established in Lodge Road, Birmingham back in 1885. Hanging on the wall at number of our farm shops is a sepia photograph taken in 1930 of the founder G.A. Smith (Walter’s father) teaching a group of apprentices.
